Best Time to Visit Auckland
- Summer (Dec – Feb) Sunny days perfect for hiking, swimming, and beach visits.
- Autumn (Mar – May) Mild temperatures, fewer crowds.
- Spring (Sep – Nov) Mild temperatures, more rain, beautiful landscapes and fewer crowds.
- Winter (June – Aug) Colder, wetter weather – I would personally avoid Auckland during winter and head to the south island for the snow.
