Keysearch Review and How To

My Keysearch Review and ‘How to’ article will (hopefully) help break down any questions, queries or unexplained questions marks you have hanging over your head about Keyword research and SEO when it comes to starting or improving your website.

Keysearch is one of those tools that you can’t go without; whether you are just starting your blogging journey or you need to learn some more tricks of the trade to increase your traffic and revenue, Keysearch will help you achieve those goals you have been longing for!

SEO – Search Engine Optimisation

Hopefully you have already read my article on How to Start a Blog in 7 Easy Steps, because then you’re ready to move on into the world of Search Engine Optimization (SEO). SEO is something you are going to hear a lot of and it is something you will never stop thinking about. SEO is the science behind getting your articles, website and online content to rank higher in search engines so more people see and click your content, therefore meaning more customers, more business and more money!

I’m not an SEO expert, I’m quite far from it but I’d like to think I know the basics to help newbies to the game. Think about SEO as an onion; onions have multiple layers and so does SEO. Everything from making sure the title of your article is optimized to the names of your photos and the invisible data within your website that only search engines can read. SEO can’t be learned in a day and it is constantly changing with website and app algorithms, so whether you’ve had your website for a day or for a year, keep working at it until you reach success, because I promise you will get there!

What is Keysearch?

Now, back to the very thing this article is all about: Keysearch is one of many websites you need to utelise if you own a website or blog and want to increase your traffic and therefore increase revenue for your business. Keysearch helps you research (Key word – Research…get it?) key words and phrases that people are searching online that you can then use across your platform to drive those very viewers to your website.
For example; you probably Googled the phrase “Keysearch Review”, because you want to know

How do I use Keysearch?

It may look daunting at the start; all those drop down-boxes and buttons, all the statistics and words being thrown at your face all over your small screen, not to mention the colours! I get it, it can be overwhelming at the best of times. But hopefully I can help you decipher the main page of Keysearch so your journey through the SEO world can be slightly easier.

Lets start with the colours even though it might be somewhat self explanatory; green means good/easy, orange is medium, and red is bad/hard. So all depending on where that sits gives you whether that information is good/easy or bad/hard.

In the first picture I have researched the keyword “Keysearch”, as seen in the top left hand corner. Everything else in the bottom two picture correlates to that specific keyword.

The Search Trends graph shows you the shift in how often “Keysearch” is searched on the internet. Below that shows the top websites for that specific keyword.

In the right image you can see all the keywords or phrases which include or are relevant to the word “Keysearch”. The volume column shows how often the keyword is search.
CPC = Cost-per-click
PPC = Pay-per-click
All of this information is then calculated to create the score and colour you see at the end. You should always try and go for Keywords which are green, but that also have a large volume, this way you have more of a chance of traffic being driven to your content.

What Else does Keysearch Offer?

Keysearch needs to be used in conjunction with other Search Engine Optimization opportunities, keywords and phrases are great but unless you know how to use them and where to put them then it’s like baking a cake without a recipe book.
Along with keyword tracking, you can explore key phrases, your competitors and a content assistant to help you maximise your traffic potential for a specific topic. Their website also offers a free SEO crash course from a beginners overview through to content and linking advise, so really Keysearch is your one stop shop for search engine optimisation.

My Keysearch Review

I give Keysearch a 10/10… I’m still learning how to use the site myself but so far Keysearch has helped me double traffic to my website just by giving me the very phrases and keywords that people are searching for. If you are devoted to creating a passive income with your website and don’t want to pay an SEO specialist thousands of dollars before you have given your best shot at SEO and keyword research yourself then you should consider utelising Keysearch the best you can.
