I’m Michaela, born and bred New Zealander. I got my first taste of international travel when I was 9 years old and embarked on my first solo journey when I was 22.

For someone who failed English in high school, I sure do like to write. So I’m not going to baffle on like LoveYaGuts is an exquisite manifestation of perfect and wholesome travel. Nor am I going to act like I know everything about everywhere.
I’ve been travelling abroad on and off since I was 18, covering 30 countries before the age of 30; I strive to experience everything this earth has to offer, and this blog is going to be nothing short of multiple day festivals, benders and near death experiences while also incorporating informative day trips, establishments to feed your faces and the weird and wonderful places of countries to explore.
